We have a used German Mauser (BYF) P38 Pistol for sale. This pistol comes chambered in 9mm with a 4.9" barrel. This comes as shown in pictures with (1) magazine. In 1942 the Mauser factory started the production of P38 pistols to fulfill the huge demand for these pistols by the German army. The secret code for Mauser is byf and is stamped on the slide just above the production year (last two digits) which is marked 43 on this model. All numbers appear to be matching thoughout the pistol with a three diget serial number with a "b" suffix with a the initial Mauser inspection stamp consisted of an eagle above the number 135 (E/135). This is in Good Used Surplus Condition but does appear to have been cold blued at one time. Check out the pictures and feel free to call or email with any questions.
