Webley Mk VI Revolver chambered in .45ACP. This revolver was rechambered like 99% of Webley’s from .455 to .45ACP when it was imported to the United States. This is a WWI production example. Serial number matching, frame and barrel. Left side of the frame is marked “Webley / 1916”. Also marked with two arrows pointing toward each other “-><-” meaning released for civilian sales. Lastly marked “ENGLAND” for export, meaning the revolver was brought into the U.S. before 1968. Mechanically, the revolver functions as it should, bore is bright but with some frosting on the bottom and towards the breech. Cosmetically, the revolver is a very good condition, with about 90% bluing fading to white metal. The grips are original, but both have had a small hole drilled near the top of the grips for an unknown purpose. This revolver is C&R eligible.
