This is an original Colt M1911 Military that was manufactured in 1918. The right side of the slide is marked "MODEL OF 1911. U.S. ARMY" and the left side of the frame is marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY". This is an amazing piece of American history, and it's in excellent condition! The finish has minor wear on the frame in a couple places, but other than the couple spots on the frame the finish is in excellent shape for being almost 100 years old.
