Chinese Type 53 Carbine. Similar to the Mosin-Nagant M44.
This is a great rifle, clean, bright bore, good bolt action. The
stock has been sanded and stained. Has a 1955 date on the
receiver. Receiver, magazine and butt plate numbers match.
The bolt number does not match.

You may purchase the same rifle for less at, etc. You will pay less but you have no idea what you will receive. You will need to spend a lot of time cleaning the cosmoline from the metal and wood. You may have a counter bored barrel or have a weapon that tumbles the round due to a crown problem. You probably will have a sticky bolt problem. My rifle has no problems, is clean and ready to enjoy.
