I have owned this non-firing machine gun for a number of years and have been restoring it over time. The gun is complete and authentic except for the aluminum receiver and plugged barrell. The 30-round magazine is capable of being loaded and inserted / locked into the magazine well. The magazine release is on the left side of the weapon. I finally located an original Thompson WWII sling in excellent condition and also found part of the cleaning kit that stores in the buttplate.

Thia is an excellent piece of history and certainly stimulates conversation. You'll note that one of the pictures shows the gun displayed on a deer mount; I used to tell everyone that I shot the deer with a five round burst! I don't know what else to tell you except that I am asking $999 OBO for the Thompson and another $199 for the full mount (I will not sell the mount separately.) Serious inquiries only please!
