WWII Time Period Youth Knife

Previously Enjoyed Collector's Piece. You'll find what is expected for a knife that was owned and carried by a 10 year old boy during the 1930's or 1940’s. The blade has been resharpened multiple times by the youth who owned it. The blade will also have pitting, rusting, and scratches among the usual findings of a 80+ year old knife that was child owned. The black Bakelite on one side has been broken in two and has some movement because of this. The emblem of course is loose as almost all of them are. You will find chips, cracks, scratches, and a tiny piece missing from the emblem. The nickel plating on the handle will show chipping and pitting from the base metal. The scabbard is in similar condition, however, still fairly intact for its age. Most of the black paint has worn off leaving a rusty finish. The leather is cracking but not broken. Button still works. One of the rivets has been bent. You can still find some of the cloth inside the scabbard. See Pics.

This is a consignment piece and the owner knows that they are starting the price high. The price will drop weekly till the right collector comes along or till it reaches their reserve price. Offers are welcomed.  More pics are available upon request.
