Jaeger – 69cal – Percussion – Gary White - Stk# P-32-16

 

This .69 caliber Jaeger rifle by Gary White has a 1-1/8" x 27-1/4" browned barrel signed G.B.White on the top flat with 1:28 twist that was recut by Bobby Hoyt. It is fitted with a Jaeger style folding leaf rear sight and a German silver blade front sight. The bore is in very good condition. The Maple stock is in good condition mounted with brass furniture and a German silver butt plate, including a wooden sliding patch box and brass nose cap. There is a crack through the wrist that has been repairedVery tasteful carving embellishes the stock. The RE Davis Jaeger flint lock has been converted to a percussion with a cap safety cover using the frizzen spring that is activated by RE Davis double set Jaeger style triggers. This Jaeger has a custom made sling with 1904 Indian head nickels and two silver buck heads. It is attached to the stock with a front swivel and a dome head screw on the toe. Very good wood to metal fit - Condition: Very Good. Length of pull is 14", overall length is 44", weight is 9.6lbs.  Our stock number is P-32-16.
