This is the Winchester Model 1906 22 rifle in Short/Long/Long Rifle. The Model 1906 was created due to the success of the Model 1890 as a more economical version to ensure the success of the slide-action 22 rifle. The Model 1906 use the same receiver as the Model 1890 and is a slide-action top ejecting rifle with a 20" round barrel and plain gumwood straight-grip stock. The rifle still functions correctly and appears to be in good working order.
 
The Model 1906 was a success with about 800,000 rifles made between 1906 and 1932.

EXCELLENT - Firearm appears in a near as new condition but does show signs of prior use.

VERY GOOD - Firearm is mechanically perfect but may have minor finish flaws in the finish.
