This original - 12 gauge Fowler has a browned tapered octagon to round 1-7/32" to 7/8" x 29" Twist Steel smooth bore barrel with European proof marks stamped on the side. The bore is shiny and smooth. The P grade European Walnut stock is in sound condition and mounted with browned steel furniture, including sling swivel studs. The large military style percussion lock is activated by a single trigger. Length of pull is 13-3/4", overall length is 46", weight is 7.2 lbs. Please Note: The barrel originally had a rear sight which was removed and the dovetail slot has been filled. Good wood to metal fit - Maker Unknown - Possibly Swiss/Austrian.
