The Colt M2012 is a precision rifleman's rifle. With a solid forged aluminum chassis at its core, along with a crisp, single stage Timney trigger, this rifle is capable of extreme accuracy at extreme distances. It has a heavy, match grade stainless steel, spiral fluted barrel with 6-groove button rifling, 5/8" diameter 24 tpi threads and a custom Cooper Firearms muzzle brake. Weighing in at just over 13 pounds without the magazine, it is one of the lightest sporting tactical rifles on the market. The M2012 feels like a familiar old friend due to the fact that it is the only precision bolt action rifle on the market with the well known ergonomics of the tried and true M-16, M-4 and AR-15 platforms.
