We are selling a U.S. Springfield Model of 1873 Trapdoor .45-70 Breech Loading Rifle for $600.00. This rifle is in overall good condition for the age. Shows heavy wear throughout the stock and some rusty and discolored spots on the steel parts. The sight system has a crack. The barrel is pitted and shows rust on the inside.

The model 1873 "Trapdoor" Springfield was the first standard-issue breech-loading rifle adopted by the United States Army.
