This double barrel/double trigger shotgun was built between 1866 and 1871.  Numbers on breech indicate it was converted to centerfire in 1925 or 1926 and the Armaf barrel chambered for 2-3/4" shells. The left barrel has an improved modified choke and the right barrel has a improved cylinder choke.  Blued finish in good condition, bores are also in good condition. Stock is made of P++ Walnut and has been broken and mended above the trigger guard.  This “Crab Knuckle” stock is checkered at the wrist and forend.  Lock is color case hardened with simple engraving and fish-head hammers. Trigger guard is also engraved.  Proof marks on barrel and breech are from Liege. Barrel length is 26”, length of pull is 14.5”, overall length is 42.5”. Our stock number A229.
