This Beretta M9A4 is a 9mm service pistol. An evolution of the venerable Beretta 92FS/M9, this pistol boasts many upgrades and refinements demanded by modern shooters: a slimmer grip profile, optics cut, significantly improved trigger, factory threaded barrel, factory night sights, and more. This pistol is in Like New in Box condition, with three original 18-rd magazines, one surplus 15-rd magazine, its factory case, and all factory papers and accessories. This M9A4 is a great entry into the latest Beretta offering at a very attractive price. All factory rollmarks are present, indicating its caliber, place of manufacture, and the like.

Condition

Overall Condition: Like New in Box condition. This pistol shows essentially no wear, with only the faintest signs of prior ownership.

Bore Condition: Like New – bright, with sharp lands and grooves. The barrel threads are sharp and clean.

Slide Condition: Like New – the Cerakote finish shows essentially no wear. The slide rides buttery smooth.

Frame Condition: Like New – the finish shows essentially no wear. Both sets of grip panels are similar.

Specific Condition Notes: The factory case and all accessories are present and accounted for. The surplus magazine is marked “Restricted Government/Law Enforcement/Export Use Only” indicating its time of manufacture – this mark is legally meaningless today.

The Beretta 92 series needs little introduction. Coming to market in the 1970s, the 92FS served as the US armed forces’ service pistol M9 for many years until quite recently. Since that time, Beretta has continued iterating on the design, offering a pistol with a premium feature set in the A4 variant. Most significantly, the A4 features factory slide cuts for optics mounting. Other major updates include a reduced grip circumference and more vertical grip angle, a significant trigger upgrade in double as well as single action, factory threaded barrel, factory night sights, and a decocker in lieu of a safety. This particular M9A4 is in Like New in Box condition, showing essentially no signs of prior use, and is complete as from the factory with three magazines (plus one surplus magazine) and all factory papers/accessories in its case.

The 5 in barrel is factory original. All expected maker’s and caliber marks are visible on the slide and barrel. The barrel is in the traditional 92 arrangement with its falling locking block and non-tilting barrel. The FDE Cerakote finish on the slide shows vanishingly little wear. The bore is in Like New condition with strong, bright lands and grooves. The factory night sights are bright in low light.

The frame is in Like New condition with similarly little wear or handling marks. The decocker operates smoothly, and both sets of grip panels are crisp and undamaged. The pistol ships with three 18-rd original magazines, all in Like New condition, plus one surplus 15-rd magazine, in Good condition.
