Here I have a beautiful model 1893 Mauser chambered in 8mm Mauser.  I believe this one started its life as a Romanian Mauser and was re arsenaled by turkey in 1934. It's in beautiful condition especially for being over 100 years old. the wood, the steel, all in great shape. No rust. The action is easily the smoothest bolt gun I own which is hilarious considering its age, spring loaded bolt still flies back with vigour.

imagine takind your deer this year with a surplus Mauser that's over 100 Years old.
