WTS: Smith & Wesson Model 29-2, .44 Magnum with 8 3/8" barrel, factory wooden display case, manual, manufactured in 1979.

Purchased on 09/12/1979, because of the fascination with the Clint Eastwood Dirty Harry Movie series.
"I Have to Buy It syndrome hit me"...lol
It's in Mint Condition, having been properly maintained and cared for over the past 47 years of its lifetime with me.
Seldom if hardly used, back of the safe it went. Another impulse buy that became "Another Safe Queen Pistol"

Smith & Wesson Model 29-2 Serial Number N-624545 comes with original display case, 3 HKS 29 Speed Loaders,
and a Clint Eastwood collector picture frame (8.5''X 9.5) 2 patches, Note: Ammunition in pictures, NOT included.

My Smith & Wesson Model 29-2 .44 Magnum with serial number N-624545 was manufactured between 1979 and 1980.
During this era, Smith & Wesson utilized the "N" serial prefix for its large N- frame revolvers.
Records from the Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson show that the  N600000 serial number range was
assigned to production spanning late 1979 through 1980.
Because it falls squarely in this block, the revolver is highly likely a Model 29-2 variant.
This was just before the significant 1982 engineering change  that eliminated the pinned barrel and counterbored
cylinder holes.
