Serial# N621766 puts this as manufactured in 1979 or 1980, per a Smith & Wesson forum post indicating:   N600000 = 1979-1980, N700000 = 1980

This revolver’s fit and nickel finish is excellent.

The S&W logo on the right side of the gun still looks pristine!

Evidence of number of rounds fired through it seems minimal from its condition.

Wood stocks are also in excellent condition considering this is a 46- to 47-year-old firearm.  Rear sights elevation and windage screws work properly.

Gun is tight – almost ‘like-new’…

Gun came in a wood presentation case, with ‘some’ tools, comes with the revolver…

I’m not a collector, and don’t know the correct ‘period’ cases, or what they are made of - mahogany, perhaps?

This is the case it was sold to me in – the condition of the wood case seems good for its age, the plastic holder (cracked) and blue felt are showing its age, especially around the gun barrel-end and front sight…

No paperwork came with the revolver, and the tools may/may not be period-correct.  The cleaning rod seems like it would be for a 6 1/2” vs. 8 3/8” barrel…

I bought it for the gun, not the case, but suppose the case felt could be restored, if someone desired it as a project!

MN buyer MUST have a valid current ID with either:  a current Permit to Purchase or a current Permit to Carry.

For a non-MN buyer, I can ship from my FFL to your FFL for approx. $75, paid by the Buyer...
