Selling a beautiful, investment-grade Smith & Wesson Model 31-1 (.32 S&W Long Regulation Police)  with 3 inch Barrel manufactured during the highly desirable 1971–1972 transition era. This specific specimen features the rare, all-numerical serial number tracking block (8xxxxx range) and the classic large S&W trademark logo stamped on the right-side sideplate.
 
This revolver is a true estate time capsule in near-mint cosmetic and mechanical condition, having fired fewer than 50 rounds since it was originally purchased in 1972.

  • The Revolver: S&W Model 31-1, 3-inch barrel, square butt configuration. Features pristine original deep factory bluing, a pinned barrel, tight lockup, perfect timing, and flawless original checkered walnut grips with gold-tone S&W medallions.
  • The Holster: Period-correct, catalog-matched vintage Black Sheep Brand leather belt holster (Model 4409), beautifully preserved and molded specifically for a 3-inch J-frame.
  • The Ammunition: Includes 4 boxes= 200 rounds of .32 S&W Long ammunition. Also have a bag of loose 32long rounds I'll have to find and count they'll go with it if I find them!
