Overall Condition: Excellent condition. This revolver shows only very small traces of prior ownership.

Bore Condition: Excellent – bright, with sharp lands and grooves. Ports are in good, clean condition.

Frame Condition: Excellent – only very minor signs of wear. Faint cylinder drag line is visible; drag line visible on recoil shield from rear cylinder axis pin.

Specific Condition Notes: Revolver timing appears tight; endshake is minimal; cylinder lockup appears tight.

Founded in 1939, Taurus has been putting quality guns in the hands of hardworking Americans for many years. Primarily known for their double-action revolvers and semi-auto pistols, Taurus has a solid reputation for making hard-wearing guns. This specific revolver is a good representative example, being a stainless Model 44 in .44 Magnum. This gun offers a familiar layout and similar controls to anyone familiar with S&W revolvers. This example was made in 2017 and is in Excellent condition, showing only limited signs of prior use.

The 4 in barrel is factory original. All expected Taurus marks are visible on the frame and barrel. The barrel is made of stainless steel and a full-length underlug to control recoil under fire. This example is factory ported for significant recoil reduction when firing full-power magnum loads. Typical front ramp and adjustable rear notch sights are fitted.

The frame is in Excellent condition with very little wear or handling marks. The gun features a smooth combat trigger and combat-style hammer with fine checkering. The expected keylock hole is present on the base of the hammer.

This Taurus 44 is ready to serve in any carry role asked of it. Its stainless construction and handy 4” length make it ideal for carry in backcountry or anywhere that a powerful sidearm might be needed.
