Here for sale is a Colt 653/723 clone build chambered in 5.56. I acquired the upper receiver already put together (purchased on gun broker), it has an A1 “LM” marked upper with an early flat slip ring and an unbranded pencil profile barrel. The lower assembly parts were all acquired separately. The stock is a Colt N1 fiberlite paired with a four position M4 receiver extension/buffer tube. The recoil spring is JP Enterprise silent capture buffer system that’s very smooth. The lower receiver is a clone M16A1 lower, note it is marked AUTO but the rifle is indeed semi only and is NOT capable of full auto in its current state. The bolt is from Daniel Defense. The pistol grip is an original Vietnam era example. The barrel is 14.5” in length (pinned and welded to 16”), marked 5.56 and has the more modern M4 feed ramp.  I’ve only put a magazine through this rifle but it ran perfectly.
