The Stealth Arms Platypus 17 CS4Q is a 9mm double-stack pistol built on the 1911 platform. It takes Glock 17 magazines and keeps the 1911 grip angle, and Stealth Arms machines its parts in house in the USA.

This CS4Q build has a 5" Government barrel with an integrated single-port compensator, so the barrel isn't threaded. The tactical frame has a square trigger guard, a full-length dust cover with an accessory rail and a mag funnel. Stealth Arms' Prickle texture covers the side and rear of the grip and the slide.

It has an ambidextrous thumb safety and a straight trigger set at 3.0 to 3.5 lbs. The fiber optic sights are standard height, with a green fiber up front.

The slide is cut for SRO and RMR footprint optics, and this one comes with a Trijicon RMR Type 2 Adjustable LED (RM06-C-700800) mounted. It has a 3.25 MOA green dot. A SureFire X300 Ultra (X300U-A) sits on the rail and puts out 1,000 lumens from two 123A batteries. The pistol comes in a Stealth Arms leather range bag.
