The Thompson/Center .444 Marlin single-shot hunting pistol is an exceptionally uncommon, low-production big-bore firearm sought after for its distinctive design, powerful chambering, and collectible appeal. Chambered in the hard-hitting .444 Marlin rifle cartridge, this unusual T/C configuration represents a specialized piece of American firearms history, combining the versatility of Thompson/Center's interchangeable-barrel platform with the performance of a powerful big-game cartridge. Its scarcity and unusual chambering make it a particularly interesting find for Thompson/Center enthusiasts and serious firearms collectors.
