This isn't a cheap aftermarket customization job; it is a factory-authorized, limited-edition release by Colt

Real 24-Karat Gold: The gold portrait of Samuel Colt, the ornate vine scrollwork, the Spanish quote, and the Rampant Colt medallions are all inlaid with authentic 24k gold plating directly from the factory

The High-Polish Finish: Cheap bluing can look dull, but the flats of the slide on this model are high-polished to a mirror-reflective finish before the bluing and gold work are applied, giving it the appearance of dark liquid glass.

Colt Craftsmanship: Because it is a limited edition of only 500 pistols worldwide, these undergo much stricter quality control and tighter hand-fitting at the Colt factory than a standard assembly-line pistol. It retains all the legendary, crisp single-action reliability Colt is known for.

The Colt Combat Commander Limited Edition is a Davidson's exclusive pistol chambered in .38 Super, limited to just 1 of 500 units worldwide, blending classic 1911 design with exquisite craftsmanship. It features a 4.25-inch stainless steel barrel for reliable performance, high-polished finish with intricate engraving and gold inlay, and Pearl Kirinite grips for a luxurious feel. This compact semi-automatic pistol holds 8+1 rounds, making it both a functional firearm and a collector's masterpiece. The Series 80 firing pin safety, upswept beavertail grip safety, and extended thumb safety enhance secure operation, while Novak white dot sights provide quick target acquisition. Custom G10 elements from the base model are elevated here with the premium engraving and grips, ensuring smooth recoil management and extended spring life through the Dual Spring Recoil System. This pistol is ideally suited for collectors celebrating Colt heritage, competitive shooters seeking precision, or enthusiasts desiring a standout carry option. Its limited production and artistic details make it perfect for display or occasional range use, where its balance and power honor the 1911 legacy in modern applications.
