Purchased Colt 1911 government royal blue finish just last week took it to the range and shot it once.  It's a great shooting gun I've only put two mags through it but I'm not crazy about the battle sites and do not want to have it cut for modern ones. 


Also just purchased a Colt limited edition 1911 with no back sights both purchased from a local gun dealer  last week looking to trade both 1911s and a Beretta apx for a high-end 1911.
