The Rock Island Armory M1911 Rock Standard FS Cerakote, model 56419, is a full-size 1911-style semi-automatic pistol built around the traditional M1911 design. It features a steel frame and slide with a Cerakote finish intended to provide a durable exterior coating and a distinctive appearance. The full-size configuration uses a 5-inch barrel and follows the familiar single-action operating system associated with the 1911 platform.

The pistol incorporates conventional 1911 controls, including a frame-mounted manual thumb safety, grip safety, and slide stop. Its design is based on the long-established M1911 pattern, making it mechanically and visually recognizable to users familiar with this platform. The model is chambered in .45 ACP and uses a detachable single-stack magazine. Standard features include fixed sights, checkered grip panels, and a traditional spur-style hammer.

The Rock Standard FS Cerakote is representative of Rock Island Armory's approach to producing straightforward, traditionally configured 1911-pattern firearms. Model 56419 identifies a specific configuration within the Rock Standard lineup, while the Cerakote treatment distinguishes it from models using conventional blued or parkerized finishes. Exact finish color, magazine capacity, included accessories, and other specifications can vary by production configuration or market, so those details should be confirmed against the manufacturer's documentation for the specific firearm.
