Staccato 2011 P 9mm Semi-Auto Pistol, 4.4” Barrel, 2x 20rd Mags, Leupold Delta Point Pro 6 MOA

This Staccato P is a 9mm pistol based on the venerable 1911. Part of Staccato’s 2011 line, it features hi-capacity double-stack magazines, factory optics cut, excellent trigger, forward cocking slide serrations, adjustable trigger, undercut trigger guard, grip stippling, very high-capacity magazines, and more. This is an excellent opportunity to get into the Staccato game with a pistol in excellent condition at a very attractive price. A Leupold Delta Point Pro 6 MOA is also fitted. All factory rollmarks are present, indicating its place of manufacture as well as caliber designations and the like.

Overall Condition: Excellent condition. This pistol shows very limited signs of previous use.

Bore Condition: Excellent – bright, with sharp lands and grooves.

Frame Condition: Excellent – Very small signs of prior use. Extremely mild discoloration is noted above the trigger on the right side.

Specific Condition Notes: Slide is buttery smooth, safety operates crisply. Leupold DPP operates correctly, no chips or cracks in the glass. Microscopic, inconsequential dots of oxidation are noted on the right side of the slide.

Staccato emerged from what was formerly known as STI out of Georgetown, Texas, overwhelmingly associated with competition 1911s. Known for exceptional race guns, STI eventually rebranded simply as Staccato in 2020, reflecting their expansion into the duty/defensive market. As such, this Staccato P represents a the flagship of their everyday 9mm pistols. Introduced in 2019, the P has since become one of the most recognizable premium American-made service pistols of the modern era. The P takes the features from Staccato’s competition line into a duty gun: high-capacity double-stack magazines, an accessory rail, native optics mounting capability, and a heavy bull barrel for precision under long strings of fire. This particular P is of the 2021 pattern and is in Excellent condition, showing very limited signs of prior use.

The 4.4 in barrel is factory original. All expected Staccato marks are visible on the frame and barrel. The barrel is made of stainless steel, and is a match-grade bull barrel for improved performance and accuracy during long strings of fire. The barrel also features Staccato’s black Diamond-Like Coating (DLC) for enhanced durability. The barrel is held in the slide by a unique bushing/recoil spring retainer arrangement, unique to the Staccato P, that is tool-less and significantly simplifies takedown. The slide features front and rear cocking serrations as well as a dovetailed front fiber optic sight plus a rear serrated sight. Extremely small, inconsequential dots of oxidation are noted on parts of the right side of the slide. This does not preclude the slide and barrel from both being in Excellent condition. The slide is optics cut, and is presently fitted with a Leupold Delta Point Pro 6 MOA red dot sight, also in Excellent condition.

The frame is in Excellent condition with similarly little wear or handling marks. Very minor oxidation is noted on the right side of the frame above the trigger. Featuring a skeletonized hammer, the frame is made of steel that mates to a polymer grip panel. This grip panel features aggressive texturing for a sure grip during long days at the competition range. A skeletonized trigger is present which is adjustable. Ambidextrous safety catches are fitted. A flat magazine release button is present in the expected location. Further fitted is a large flared magazine well for lightning-quick reloads. The pistol ships with two 20-rd magazines, made of stainless steel with metallic baseplates for enhanced durability.

This model P is a compelling opportunity to get into the 2011/Staccato 9mm game at a very attractive price. Fitted with a quality Leupold Delta Point Pro, this pistol combines the exceptional trigger, accuracy, and handling characteristics of a competition gun with the durability and reliability expected of a professional duty weapon.
