Just in time for hunting season! This Browning Euro-Bolt is a fine bolt-action rifle chambered in .270 Winchester. The Euro-Bolt is a derivative of the venerable A-Bolt series with several European stylistic refinements. This rifle is fitted with the BOSS tuning system. Also fitted is a period-correct Leupold Vari-X III 4.5-14x40 scope, also in Like New condition. All factory rollmarks are present, indicating its place of manufacture as well as caliber designations and the like.

Overall Condition: Like New condition, showing astonishingly little signs of prior use despite its age. The action appears to be in perfect working order.
Bore Condition: Like New – clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear. The finish condition is similarly rated as Like New with essentially no signs of wear.
Furniture condition: Like New – only extremely scant, minor handling marks are noted on the stock.
Scope condition: Like New – only extremely minor handling marks are noted on the scope body.
Specific Condition Notes: Safety works positively; palm swell on right side of grip is present. BOSS system is in Excellent condition and is easily adjusted.

This Euro-Bolt is a variation on Browning’s successful A-Bolt design. Combining Browning’s proven Japanese-manufactured action with European stylistic elements, this rifle features a handsome satin walnut stock with a pronounced Monte Carlo type comb and Schnabel forend, as well as a distinctive butter-knife type bolt handle. Regrettably, the Euro-Bolt is no longer offered, making this rifle an unusual find.
The Euro-Bolt features a typical bolt action with a three-lug bolt arrangement familiar to any shooter. The three-lug design permits a shorter bolt throw to more easily clear optical sights. A tang-mounted safety is present. The action is based on that of the A-Bolt II, with a non-rotating bolt body. The body of the bolt is left in the white. The trigger is crisp and light. The rifle features a 4-round box magazine which hinges down for easy loading/unloading. The action of this rifle is in Like New condition – the bolt operates exceptionally smoothly with zero hangups or binding. The The finish on the action is in Like New condition with essentially no handling marks noted.
The rifle is fitted with a Leupold Vari-X III 4.5-14x40 telescopic sight, dated to 1995. This American made glass suits the rifle well, with an appropriate range of magnification, plus the vintage parallax adjustment ring on the objective bell. The optic is in Like New condition, with essentially no handling marks. All adjustment knobs work smoothly. Butler Creek flip caps are fitted.
The rifle’s 22” barrel is factory standard. The bore is in Like New condition with sharp lands and grooves and a mirror bright finish. The barrel features Browning’s Ballistic Optimizing Shooting System (BOSS), which can be finely tuned to a specific loading, thereby maximizing accuracy of the rifle. The BOSS also includes a muzzle brake that significantly reduces recoil.
The rifle’s furniture is standard for the Euro-Bolt, being made of walnut with a fine satin finish. A Monte Carlo-type comb is present, as is grip and forend checkering. Also present is a right side palm swell on the grip. Only the few faintest handling marks are noted on the stock. The buttplate is of soft rubber for increased shooting comfort. Front and rear sling swivel studs are present.
This Browning Euro-Bolt is just in time for hunting season.
