Item Description

Up for sale is a beautiful Smith & Wesson Model 38-2 Airweight Bodyguard chambered in .38 Special. Featuring the highly desirable "humpback" shrouded-hammer design, this J-frame gives you the smooth, snag-free draw of a pocket pistol while retaining full double-action and single-action (DA/SA) capability.

Based on the BRWxxxx serial number prefix, this particular revolver was manufactured in 1994, making it a highly sought-after "Pre-Lock" model built well before S&W introduced internal key locks.

Condition Details:

Finish: Excellent condition. The matte black/blue finish is incredibly deep and uniform, showing virtually no high-edge holster wear or thinning.
Cylinder: Features a faint, normal turn-line. Chambers and bore are bright with sharp rifling.
Lockup & Timing: Rock solid. Functions exactly as a vintage S&W should.
Grips: Upgraded with a vintage set of Pachmayr Compac rubber grips featuring the gold medallion. They provide an excellent, secure purchase and drastically mitigate recoil compared to factory wood.
