Seller's Description:
Selling my Thunderbeast Fly 45 suppressor with all the original parts. I bought this to pair with a 45-70 levergun. I have since sold that rifle and no longer have a use for this suppressor. Thunderbeast is known for making some of the best-performing / rugged suppressors in the industry. This 45/46 cal can is no exception. It sounds great with super-sonic loads and even better with sub-sonics. And with its extremely lightweight and compact package, you hardly know it's there. This suppressor would make a great addition onto another buyer's levergun or big-bore AR. Or if you're someone that wants one suppressor to run on all your guns utilizing thread adapters, this could fit the bill. It's 6" in short configuration and only 5.02 oz! Even with the additional baffles installed, it only measures 8", and weighs 7.34 oz. There is a "booster" included with this suppressor that allows it to be paired with handguns. I've included a snippet of Thunderbeast's website specs for reference. Visit their website for additional details on the suppressor specs / compatibility.
Buying Process:
I am the original owner and the suppressor is currently registered to my trust. With all the recent shakeups in the NFA, purchase and transfer of suppressors has become a lot easier. To my understanding, I would ship the suppressor to the buyer's FFL. Depending on which state the buyer resides in, would determine whether the FFL requires you to fill out a traditional Form 4473 (similar to buying a firearm), or whether they require you to file a Form 4 even though the tax stamp is gone. Currently these rules vary state-to-state, so it will be up to the buyer to confirm their process once the shipment has been received by their local FFL.
Condition: 9.5 / 10
This suppressor is in like-new condition. I only shot about 30 rounds through it with my levergun before selling the rifle, and it's been sitting in my safe since then. I have the suppressor setup in the short configuration in the photos. The additional baffles, booster for pistol use, and wrench are included with purchase.
