1979 Winchester Model 70 XTR – .308 Winchester


Pre-USRAC production, manufactured in New Haven, Connecticut. Features a 22-inch barrel, hinged floorplate and three-position safety.


Full XTR specification, including a jeweled bolt, ebony forend tip and grip cap with line spacers, Monte Carlo comb and cut checkering. Supplied with a Swift Premier scope, mounted and included in the sale.


Excellent overall condition. Original stock finish remains intact, checkering is sharp, bluing is deep, bore is good and action operates smoothly. Buttpad has been replaced with a later aftermarket unit.
