Winchester Model 1895 – .270 Winchester – Miroku Japan
Beautiful Winchester Model 1895 chambered in .270 Winchester, manufactured in Japan by Miroku for U.S. Repeating Arms Company.
This rifle is in excellent to near-mint cosmetic condition, showing very little evidence of use. The high-polish blued finish presents exceptionally well, and the checkered walnut stock and forearm have attractive grain and color. Based on its appearance, the rifle may have seen very limited use, although the actual round count is unknown.
Features include a 24-inch barrel, traditional iron sights, straight-grip walnut stock, and fixed 4-round box magazine.
Miroku-manufactured Winchesters are highly regarded for their quality craftsmanship, fit, and finish. This is a particularly attractive example of John Browning's classic Model 1895 design in the versatile .270 Winchester chambering.
