Up for local sale is a really nice example of a Ruger New Model Blackhawk .357 Magnum revolver that, according to its serial number, was manufactured in 1977. Sometime in late 1977, Ruger began marking the Blackhawk barrels with the obnoxious safety warning, commonly referred to as the Billboard Barrel. This example does not have the barrel warning. Overall, it's in great shape for a 49 year old revolver with only the slightest signs of use. I have a lot more pictures. If you want to seen them, send your email address to me and I'll send them to you.
