For sale is a vintage Glenfield Model 20 bolt-action rifle manufactured by the Marlin Firearms Company. This 1977-production rifle features a 22-inch JM-stamped barrel chambered for .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Long Rifle ammunition, along with a wood stock featuring a distinctive pressed groundhog scene.
The rifle is in good overall condition for its age, with the remaining finish and wood presenting very well. The bore is bright and clean, and no rust or pitting is reported. The rifle is reported to function properly apart from the missing sight components described below.
The front dovetail sight is missing. The rear sight is present but is missing its elevation-adjustment piece, commonly called the sight elevator. Both missing components will need to be sourced and replaced to complete the iron-sight setup.
Please review all listing photos carefully for the best representation of the rifle’s finish, wood stock, groundhog design, barrel markings, sights, and overall condition.
This sale includes the Glenfield Model 20 rifle and two seven-round magazines. No box, case, or additional accessories are included.
