Up for sale are two Springfield trapdoors. Both have the cartouch ESA stamped along with US Springfield & 1865 stamped on side plate.  Both riflings are good epscially for their age.

  1. This is an 1865 58-caliber rimfire.  Wood is in good shape with a good ESA cartouche.  The overall wood condition is good with dents & dings for a rifle of it's age.  The metal does have some pitting but overall good condition as well.

  2. This is an 1866 50-70 centerfire rifle.  Wood is in good condition but a few more dings than the 1865.  The metal has a nice patina with some pitting as well but overall good condition
