Winchester Model 12 – 1954 – 12 Gauge – 30" Vent Rib
This Winchester Model 12 belonged to my grandfather and has been in the family for years. I've always appreciated the craftsmanship of these older Winchesters, although I've personally been more of a rifle guy than a shotgun enthusiast.
It was manufactured in July 1954 and features a 30-inch barrel with a ventilated rib, Full choke, and 2¾-inch chamber.
The shotgun has beautiful figured walnut furniture with checkering and a pistol-grip cap. The wood has some particularly attractive grain, which really gives this old Winchester character.
