It started out as a ugly duckling and neglected. I've done the following to it.


New Para/ Remington 5" slide


VZ G-10 grips


WC Extractor ( series 80)


WC Ejector


Springfield Deltahammer


Frame was bead blasted by local Cerakote professional applicator and shot in Tactical Grey, baked on Cerakote


3 hole aluminum shoe trigger


New Fusion ambi safety


All factory removed parts included: Sear/ Sear spring/ Disco/ grips


 


Has 1 factory Canadian made mag


2 Mecgar 14 round mags.


No box. 


I have put one box of 50 through this pistol and worked the parts in. Would not go into battery when first shot every couple rounds


The more I shot, the issue started to go away. have not shot it in a few weeks.


Found the Disconnector was dragging on slide ( see mods below) Widened the marvel cut and no more hanging up.


 


Bubba smiffin i did for full disclosure: Tried hand at marvel cut on slide and tried to notch frame to use regular 1911 sear spring.


They can be cleaned up to those "real" or more experiences smiths out there.
