I believe I have a 1957 or 58 Remington Gamemaster 760 in 30-06. I bought the gun and it came with the original stock but someone custom made a tang safety for it. I have heard the early ones may have came like that but I can't find any information about it online.  I have removed that stock and put a Boyd's stock on it. I do have the original and tang safety that will come with it. Gun is in very good shape. Very minor pitting on the receiver you can barely see or feel. Very nice gun  Date code is IEB. I would trade for a elk gun
