This is the Ruger Mini-14 Ranch Rifle, model 5890, in 5.56 NATO with a matte stainless steel barreled action and a gray/black chevron laminate stock. It has an 18.5" cold hammer-forged barrel with a 1:9" RH twist and 6 grooves, and it uses the Mini-14's Garand-style action with a breech-bolt locking system, a fixed-piston gas system, and a self-cleaning moving gas cylinder. The solid steel receiver has integral scope mounts and is drilled and tapped for a rail, and scope rings and a Picatinny rail are included. Sights are a ghost-ring rear aperture and a non-glare protected blade front. It ships with two 5-round magazines. Ruger lists 38" overall length, 13.5" length of pull, and 7 lb.
