This is the Springfield Armory 1911 DS Prodigy Comp (PH9119AOSLC-COMP), a double-stack 1911 in 9mm with an integral compensator, in the 5" AOS Black low-capacity configuration. The compensator is a single port cut through the top of the slide and barrel that vents gas upward to reduce muzzle rise, with the front sight positioned behind the port. It has a 5" forged stainless steel, match-grade bull barrel with a 1:16 twist and a 2-piece full-length guide rod. The forged carbon steel slide and frame are finished in Black Cerakote, and the frame has a polymer grip module, an accessory rail, and an ambidextrous safety. The slide is optics-ready through Springfield's AOS (Agency Optic System), whose billet steel plates have an integral rear sight. It ships with a HEX Dragonfly-compatible AOS plate and a cover plate; no optic is included. Sights are a tritium front and a black serrated rear. It ships with two 10-round magazines. Springfield lists 8.5" length, 5.5" height, and 33 oz.
