This is the Chiappa M1-9 (500.136), a 9mm semi-automatic carbine styled after the WWII-era M1 Carbine. It is a straight-blowback design with a 19" steel barrel (1:9 twist), a steel bolt, and an alloy receiver in a matte blued finish, set in a wood stock and forend. It feeds from Beretta 92-pattern magazines and ships with two 10-round blued magazines. Sights are a fixed M1-style front and an adjustable M1-style rear. It has a manual safety and traditional sling points, and the receiver has dovetails for an optional rail. Chiappa lists 36" overall length and 6.3 lb.
