This is the Smith & Wesson M&P FPC (SKU 14142), the state-compliant fin-grip configuration of S&W's folding pistol caliber carbine. The grip has a fin-style backstrap, and the carbine ships with three 10-round magazines. It is a blowback-operated 9mm that folds to the side, so a mounted optic is not disturbed. It has a 16.25" 4140 steel barrel with a black oxide finish and 1:10" twist, threaded 1/2x28 with a thread protector. Other features include a stainless steel bolt, a hard coat black anodized aluminum receiver tube, an M-LOK handguard with a Picatinny-style top rail, and a cross-bolt safety. It has no iron sights and is optic-ready. The polymer stock has a fixed 14.5" length of pull and stores two spare magazines behind a quick-release latch. It accepts M&P full-size and compact double-stack 9mm magazines. S&W lists 30 3/8" overall length unfolded, 16 3/8" folded, and 5.1 lb (carbine only).
