A classic German-made precision rimfire rifle, this Anschütz Model 1903 is a purpose-built .22 LR match rifle designed for smallbore target shooting. Built around Anschütz’s proven Match 64-series action, the 1903 combines a heavy target barrel, crisp two-stage match trigger, and competition-style wood stock. The stock features an adjustable cheekpiece and butt assembly, textured pistol grip, ventilated fore-end, and an integrated accessory rail underneath. The heavy barrel and substantial target stock provide the stable, balanced platform expected from a traditional Anschütz competition rifle. This example is marked “Anschütz Match Mod. 1903 – Cal. .22 long rifle” and “J.G. Anschütz GmbH Ulm / West-Germany.” It shows normal cosmetic wear from previous use, including handling marks and finish wear consistent with its age.
