This Anschütz Match Model 1403 is a classic German-made bolt-action target rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle. Built for precision rimfire shooting, the Model 1403 features a heavy target barrel, match-style trigger, and a substantial wood target stock with textured grip areas for a secure, consistent shooting position. This example is equipped with a globe-style front target sight and retains the classic competition configuration that made Anschütz rifles popular with generations of smallbore shooters. The barrel is clearly marked “Anschütz Match Mod. 1403 – Cal. .22 long rifle.” The rifle shows honest cosmetic wear consistent with age and use, including handling marks on the wood and finish wear/patina on the metal components. These characteristics give it the appearance of a well-used vintage target rifle rather than a refinished example. Highlights: Anschütz Match Model 1403 • .22 LR • Bolt Action • Heavy Target Barrel • Match-Style Trigger • Wood Target Stock • Textured Grip Areas • Globe Front Sight • Vintage German Target Rifle A great choice for the vintage rimfire enthusiast, Anschütz collector, or recreational target shooter looking for an affordable example of classic Anschütz smallbore craftsmanship.
