This revolver remains in approximately 95% original condition, retaining a deep factory blue finish with only light handling wear. The action is exceptionally smooth in both single and double action, with solid lockup and proper timing. The bore is bright with strong rifling.

Unlike most modern snub-nose revolvers, the Detective Special features a 6-round cylinder, giving it an extra round while maintaining compact dimensions.

Included is an original Bianchi Model 56 “Serpent” leather holster—a classic period accessory that pairs perfectly with this revolver.
