Up for sale is an all matching remington production 1943 springfield 1903a3. This rifle is still packed in grease from long term arsenal storage.

Receiver dated march 1943. matching remington barrel with 1-43 date stamp

bolt, sling attachments and other small parts are "r" stamped. This rifle apears to be wearing its orginal stock as well as it is faintly stamped "FJA" above the trigger.

Best I can tell this is a late production 1903a3 and saw little to no service as it is imaculate. It was diverted to Ogden Arsenal where it was inspected and packed in grease for longterm storage. Grease it is still packed in. This is not a parts gun.

As a collectors item these are more and more uncommon.

I can share any photos you would like if you are interested.
