Built beyond Jeff Cooper's Scout specification:  The last of the Mohicans!  This is the last NIB never fired Steyr Tacticle Scout rifle in the USA.

It is a 900 yard rifle out of the box.

Others, half of them at least, all reported 1/4 MOA accuracy with their rifles.

Steyr USA imported only 200 other copies.  The grand total was exactly 201.

I rate this one at 99% because I took apart the butt stock and ended up with a washer not back on the armament.  That part is included along with the original sling hardware.  Did not come with a sling, but it is still in its origninal hardshell shipping case.

Also comes with the ideal scope and Quick Release one-piece solid mount.

Includes the pair of 5-round magazines plus a High Capacity kit with three magazines.

Most of this hardware has been discontinued.

Steyr is noted for hammer forged barrels with chambers cut in a manner that allows the Steyr Scout to fire all factory ammunition more accuracy meaning it is not neccessary to hand load for each inidividual rifle.  Regardless, this rate of twist was observed by several marksmen to operate best with 155 grain Lapua BTHP.

Sold only as a package.  Includes dedicated .30 caliber Otis cleaning system.  For more photos contact me.

Face to face private party sale preferred.  Willing to ship to your FFL for actual costs of packing (double boxed) and proper shipping.
