Rifle Dynamics RD701 / AAM-47SF – 7.62x39

Rifle Dynamics RD701 / AAM-47SF chambered in 7.62x39.

This is an older-production Rifle Dynamics AK built on a Morrissey AAM-47SF stamped receiver and configured in the classic lightweight RD701 format.

Features include:

  • 7.62x39
  • Morrissey AAM-47SF stamped receiver
  • Rifle Dynamics markings
  • RD/Bolton combination gas block and front sight
  • 14.5" barrel
  • Dead Air KeyMo muzzle brake, pinned/welded to legal rifle length
  • Ultimak railed gas tube
  • Triangle side-folding stock
  • Black polymer lower handguard
  • Rifle Dynamics coated finish (OD Green)
  • Standard AK-pattern magazines
  • Rilfe does have an ALG AKT-EL installed. Factory RD trigger that came with the rifle is also included.

The rifle has been fired, but round count is very low and overall condition is excellent/immaculate. Finish, furniture and controls are all exceptionally clean.

Included are the manuals/paperwork that came with the rifle and 1 Magpul Magazine.

This appears to be from the later classic-production RD701 period. I do not have documentation establishing the exact build date or Jim Fuller involvement. However, based on the parts list and the Kalash Bash 2020 Pamphlet included in the paperwork, I do believe this to be a 2019 production year rifle, the same year Jim Fuller left Rifle Dynamics.

The RD701 was Rifle Dynamics' lightweight 7.62x39 fighting-rifle configuration, combining the shortened 14.5" front end, Bolton combination gas block/front sight and folding stock to produce a notably light and well-balanced AK.

Condition: Excellent / very low round count
