WWII U.S. Stevens Model 620A Trench Gun – 12 Gauge – Correct 1917 Remington M1917 Bayonet, Scabbard & Frog

Description:
Offered here is a scarce and highly collectible WWII U.S. Stevens Model 620A Trench Gun, chambered in 12 gauge and complete with a correct U.S. Model 1917 Remington bayonet, scabbard, and leather frog.
The military version was built on the Model 620A action, This shotgun retains its correct U.S. martial configuration, including the 20-inch cylinder-bore barrel, original perforated heat shield/bayonet-lug assembly, and military sling hardware.
The receiver is properly marked “U.S.  U.S. ordnance bomb and proof markings are present on the gun and barrel. The barrel is marked “PROOF TESTED – 12 GAUGE – 2 3/4 INCH CHAMBER.” This is an original U.S. military trench gun configuration—not a sporting gun converted to resemble one.
Included with the shotgun is an original U.S. M1917 bayonet, marked “1917 REMINGTON,” complete with its scabbard and leather frog. This is the correct bayonet pattern for the Stevens 620A trench gun and makes for an impressive, historically correct U.S. martial display.
The shotgun retains a very good, honest wartime appearance. Metal shows original finish with normal edge wear, light freckling, and handling marks consistent with age and service. The walnut stock and forearm are solid and presentable, with typical light dings and wear. Markings remain clear. The heat shield, bayonet lug, sling hardware, bayonet, scabbard, and frog all present well.
