Initial offerings include two models chambered in 5.56 NATO and compatible with .223 Remington ammunition. This model features a rigid, free-floated 15-inch handguard with M-LOK® accessory slots, a carbine-length gas system, a classic black A2 grip, an M4-style collapsible stock, and a lightweight handguard profile without a full-length top rail. The flat-top upper receiver includes Picatinny rail slots, a forward assist, dust cover, brass deflector, and mil-spec charging handle. Its 16.1-inch barrel has a black-nitride finish for corrosion resistance and long service life, along with 1:8-inch-twist button rifling, a 5.56 NATO chamber, and 1/2"-28 muzzle threads fitted with a classic A2 flash hider. Combining Ruger’s renowned rugged reliability with modern adaptability, the Harrier is well suited to shooters who value precision, durability, and customization.
