Up for sale is a very rare piece, Smith & Wesson model 14-2.

The Smith & Wesson Model 14-2 "Dayton Gun" (also known as the "Hanen Special") is a rare distributor-commissioned hybrid revolver chambered in .38 Special. 
 
Overview & History
Distributor: Commissioned by Joe Hanen, owner of Dayton Gun Headquarters in Dayton, Ohio.
Production Years: Manufactured in four separate serial number blocks between 1965 and 1968.
Total Production: Roughly 2,038 total units were made across these special production runs. 
 
Design & Features
The Hybrid Build: It combined a standard target-grade Model 14 K-frame with a heavy 4-inch barrel (resembling a heavy Model 10 barrel) and a Model 15 Baughman-style ramp front sight. 
Configurations: Features varied slightly depending on the batch, with a mix of standard or target hammers, triggers, and checkered walnut stocks. 
Collectibility: Because of their limited, specialized production for the Dayton market, clean or mint condition examples (especially those with original boxes and factory letters) are scarce collector's items
