This Glock 44 is a .22 cal trainer version of the Glock 19 9mm. Every element of the gun, from the size, controls, sights, and handling, have been duplicated from its bigger-bore brother to provide a lower-cost trainer pistol. This example is New Old Stock. All expected rollmarks are stamped on the barrel, frame, and slide.

Condition

Overall Condition: New Old Stock. This pistol is unused and unfired, except at the factory.

Bore Condition: New – mirror bright, with sharp lands and grooves.

Frame Condition: New – only minor signs of wear present.

Specific Condition Notes: Factory serial-matched case along with interchangeable backstraps and all factory papers are present.

The Glock series of pistols is the standard against which all other modern pistols are measured. They are extremely prolific and widespread. In 2020, Glock finally added a .22LR model to its lineup: the Glock 44. This is made to exactly mimic the size and handling characteristics of the Glock 19 Gen 5. This particular example was made in 2022.

The 4 in barrel is original. Standard Glock marks are visible on the barrel and slide. The sights are standard Glock type sights, with an adjustable rear sight. The bore is in New condition, with mirror-bright, sharp lands and grooves. The slide is of a unique polymer/steel construction to permit the use of low-power .22LR ammo. The barrel is not threaded.

The pistol’s frame, as previously mentioned, perfectly mimics the Glock 19 Gen 5 – the biggest change from previous iterations is the lack of finger grooves on the front strap, plus ambidextrous slide catches and a reversible magazine catch. Unlike most .22 trainer pistols, this Glock 44 has a barrel that is not fixed to the frame, further still mimicking the takedown procedure of larger Glocks. Interchangeable backstraps are provided to better fit the pistol to the user’s hand. The trigger is standard Glock, with a 5.5lb pull and a good break. The pistol ships with two 10-rd magazines.

This Glock 44 is the perfect addition to the Glock lineup. Permitting familiarization and practice with much lower cost, it is New Old Stock, unfired, ready for use, for less!
